I love animals. Like, really love them. I used to trudge through the snow at 10PM to tube-feed abandoned seal pups. I've stuffed pills into squid to medicate sea turtles and smelled like fish for literal days. I spent 4 months photographing manatee scar patterns, because so many boats hit them it's how they're identified now. I've worked in an animal shelter and two veterinary hospitals. I've scooped more poop than I would like to admit. I've held animals when they first opened their eyes and as they've crossed the rainbow bridge.
I see them in all their perfection. And now, I find creative ways to help others see it, too.
